CITB Funding Awarded to Ryearch for Construction Skills Training

Ryearch has just been awarded funding from the CITB (The Construction Industry Training Board) for the delivery of construction specific skills training. The grant award of nearly £5,000 will be used to support our new Site Manager, Nadia Mitchell, in undertaking the widely recognised Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). Electric Vehicle Charging Points now at Ryearch

Ryearch has recently installed an electric vehicle charging point at our head office in Plympton, thanks to a grant from the ‘Transforming Cities Fund – Workplace Travel Grant’ through Plymouth City Council. As one of the first company’s in Plymouth to secure this grant, we can now offer staff and visitors the option to charge their Electric Vehicles (EVs’s) and Plug-in Electric Hybrid Vehicles (PHEV’s) while at our office, reducing the time vehicles are emitting harmful emissions during subsequent journeys.

Ancient Remains Discovered at Stoke Damerel Church

It’s been a particularly interesting week at the Stoke Damerel Church site, with refurbishments to this grade II listed building revealing ancient graves and bones!  An archaeologist from A C Archaeology was called in to see the site before any further developments went ahead.
