The children of Whitchurch Pre-School, based on the outskirts of Tavistock, will benefit next term from having a brand new kitchen installed, thanks to Ryearch and other local organisations.
The setting was in dire need of a new kitchen in which to prepare and store food for the youngsters, and a number of organisations pulled together to provide support.
Donations from Tesco’s Tavistock and Tavistock Lions enabled Whitchurch Pre-School to purchase the new kitchen units, which Ryearch then installed for free after removing the old units. The kitchen floor lino was kindly provided by Tavistock Carpets.
Ryearch has successfully delivered building projects in educational settings across Devon and Cornwall for 25 years. The firm has a reputation for delivering on time, within budget and to a very high standard.
The works were completed by Ryearch’s Site Manager, Mike Jory, who said:
“Whilst this project was very small scale in comparison to our normal scope of works, it was none-the-less critical to ensure we delivered it as efficiently as possible to ensure the Pre-School remained operational.”
Pre-School Manager, Judith Cotter, added:
“The project was a fantastic piece of teamwork which achieved the new facility we so desperately needed. Being supported by these local organisations means a lot to the team who work here – we will appreciate it every time we go into the kitchen.”
