Ryearch’s workforce of around 50 directly employed staff, all based in Plymouth, take pride in delivering exceptional projects in our local communities. Remarkably, around 70% of our employees have been part of the Ryearch team for over 15 years, thanks to our supportive, team-oriented culture.
Ryearch’s senior managers bring a wealth of experience in handling complex and sensitive projects. All our Site Managers are certified through the five-day SMSTS, while our Operatives hold relevant trade qualifications, such as CSCS and CPCS cards. They also have NVQ qualifications and are trained in health and safety and first aid. We also undertake DBS checks when required.
We have long-standing partnerships with local suppliers and subcontractors, which allows Ryearch to deliver the highest standards for our clients. We only work with suppliers from our Approved Contractor List, each of whom is carefully vetted for quality and reliability. Wherever possible, we prioritise using SMEs local to the project, ensuring we support the communities in which we work.

Ryearch’s experienced Estimators ensure every project is accurately priced, considering all resources, from labour to materials. We are transparent with clients from the outset, avoiding underquoting just to win a project. Our expertise allows us to suggest innovative solutions in design, materials, and scheduling to enhance time, cost, and quality.
Ryearch’s professional and approachable management team works closely with clients and site teams to ensure every project is delivered efficiently. Involving our Site Managers from the early stages ensures their practical experience is applied from concept through to completion. Our robust contract management procedures keep projects aligned with the agreed programme and budget, an integral part of our ISO standards.
Quality is at the heart of everything Ryearch does, and it’s this attention to detail that keeps our clients returning. Each project is rigorously audited throughout the build by our Quality Manager and frequently inspected by our senior team to maintain the highest standards.
Ryearch has numerous industry accreditations, including the prestigious ISO 90001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) certifications, awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI), underscoring Ryearch’s commitment to project management excellence and sustainability.

Health and safety is Ryearch’s top priority, and our in-house H&S Manager ensures all sites operate to the highest safety standards. Many of our projects are delivered while buildings remain operational, and our exemplary RIDDOR record highlights our commitment to safe working practices. Our sites are regularly cited as industry benchmarks during external audits, including by the Building Safety Group.
We are also committed to environmental sustainability, striving to minimise our impact on the environment and achieve net zero carbon by 2040. We actively seek opportunities to use sustainable materials and recycle on-site wherever possible.

As a member of the Building Plymouth initiative, we’re also helping to bridge the skills gap in the construction sector. Through workplace tasters, site visits, and outreach projects with local schools and colleges, we’re fostering the next generation of construction professionals. Our support also extends to employing individuals who have faced homelessness or long-term unemployment.
