A basic needs project for Stoke Damerel Primary School in Plymouth, comprising the construction of extensions to the existing school, internal refurbishment works, and external works.  Works were phased to ensure minimum effect on the smooth running of the school.

Phase 1: refurbishment to a number of rooms, including modification of existing teaching and staff room spaces

Phase 2: construction of four extensions to provide new classroom spaces and additional WC facilities

External works: creation of new playground areas

The project was completed to budget, on time and to the satisfaction of the client.  Ryearch received very strong feedback on the Performance Assessment Questionnaire, on completed of the scheme.

The Ryearch team was reappointed three years later to undertake further construction works at Stoke Damerel Primary School, and details of this award-winning project can be found here.
