Cornwall Council Framework

Ryearch was awarded places on two Lots for Cornwall Council’s Capital Works Delivery Framework for the period 2012-2016.

  • Lot 1: Construction projects under £1 million (total framework value £30,000,000)
  • Lot 3: Civil Engineering projects under £1 million (total framework value £5,000,000)

Under the Lot 1 structure, Ryearch won the contract for Ex-PFI1 Schools Planned Backlog Maintenance 2015 Group H, which was to deliver a variety of school maintenance and refurbishment projects across Cornwall.

All the projects were successfully completed on time, to budget and to the client’s satisfaction.

 

Group 4 – Backlog Maintenance Programme:

Beacon Infant & Nursery School, Bodmin (now Beacon ACE Academy) – Replacement of a pitched, slated roof.

St Dennis Community Primary School, St Dennis (now St Dennis Primary Academy) – Replacement of windows and external doors to two blocks.

Nanpean Community Primary School, St Austell – Replacement of windows to a single block.

  • Value: £56,000

 

Phase 5 – Backlog Maintenance Programme:

St Stephens Churchtown Community Primary School, St Austell (now St Stephens Churchtown Academy) – Replacement windows and external doors to Elliot buildings and a boiler replacement.

Doubletrees School, Par – Provision of a new flat roofing system.

  • Completion date: August 2013
  • Value: £154,000

 

Group K – Backlog Maintenance Programme:

Porthleven School, Helston – Replacement roofing, asbestos removals, new patent glazing window systems.

Halwin School, Helston – Replacement of existing timber fascia with new UPVC including all new guttering.

Werrington School, Launceston (now Federation of North Petherwin & Werrington Community Schools) – Internal damp remedial works, replacement roof to extension, new paving works externally.

Cubert School, Newquay – Remedial works to two chimneys, new windows, internal damp remedial works, new ceilings and decorations.

Illogan School, Redruth – New high level window replacements to hall.

St Wenn School, Bodmin – Remedial works to two chimneys, demolition of old Elliot building and supply and install new Wernick modular building including associated substructure and drainage.
