Cornwall Council Framework 2018-2022

Ryearch was appointed to this construction framework for projects up to £2M in value, with the first contract awards made by Cornwall Council in 2019.  We have undertaken a wide variety of refurbishment projects in over 20 schools, ranging from small reactive maintenance jobs of c£5,000 up to a single project worth just under £1,000,000.  Projects examples include:

Torpoint College: Complete replacement of a flat roof using IKO to around half of the school (1,500m²) and replacement of associated rainwater goods.  The project went well and to the clients satisfaction.

Liskeard School & Community College: Replacement of flat roof covering to the sixth-form block, the library, block 1 (including adjacent link corridor) and the replacement of curtain walling to block 1.  The works went very smoothly, and to the clients’ satisfaction.

Indian Queens Primary School, St Columb: Replacement of roof covering to the library and adjacent classrooms and office, isolated roof repairs to five areas throughout the school to replace sarking felt and tiling battens.  Removal of existing timber floor and construction of new concrete slab floor.  Ryearch deployed our resources to undertake these works at short notice and within a very compressed timeframe; the scheme was finished on time and to budget.

“I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all that worked on the project over the summer, it was very well organised and carried out in a professional manner from start to finish. It didn’t go without a hitch but all obstacles were dealt with in a calm and professional manner. The team was exceptionally managed by who communicated very well throughout the project.”  (Premises Manager)

Warbstow Primary Academy, Launceston: Damp remediation works to two classrooms and to the library.  Our team delivered these works over the summer holiday period and despite the very short notice and tight timescale, the project was finished on time and to budget.

“I would like to commend both the quality of work undertaken and the workforce which completed this summer’s works at Warbstow Primary Academy.  I would specifically like to thank Ian the site supervisor, who was personable, extremely helpful and kept me informed throughout all the works undertaken.  I would gladly recommend Ryearch to other schools within our Academy, and look forward to working with you on future projects”.  (Premises Team)
