One of Ryearch’s talented apprentices, Caleb Buxton, has recently achieved his NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating. To mark the occasion, Caleb was invited to our Plympton head office, where he received his qualification certificate and a well-earned pack of beer to toast his success.

Caleb joined Ryearch in the summer of 2021 and spent his early days working on our prestigious housing scheme in Bodmin. There, under the supervision of our experienced painting and decorating team, Caleb learnt the importance that Ryearch places on quality, an approach he has taken onto our other sites including Ballard House, Burrington Way and several Cornwall Council schools.
The apprenticeship training was provided by Greenlight Safety & Training, a Plymouth-based organisation that has been a trusted partner of Ryearch for over five-years. Greenlight delivers a variety of construction-focused courses, equipping apprentices like Caleb with the skills they need to excel.
Caleb is currently working on a major refurbishment project at Torpoint Community College, which offers new opportunities for his professional development. Ryearch’s Managing Director, Mark Wildman, who presented Caleb with his framed certificate, commented on his accomplishments:
“We are proud to support the professional development of all our apprentices, and Caleb has proved to be an exceptional asset to Ryearch’s team. He has already gained valuable experience across several of our projects, and we’re excited about what lies ahead for him.”
With his NVQ under his belt and new driver’s licence in hand, Caleb’s next milestone will be receiving a company vehicle – a well-deserved step forward in his career with Ryearch.
