Improvement works were carried out to the access road to Plymouth Railway Station and the adjoining main access route to the City Centre in two phases.

The works included carriageway resurfacing, forming a new carriageway lane on the main route, bitumen macadam and precast concrete paved footways, drainage works, and street furniture including cycle shelters and stands.
