Lipson Community College, Plymouth

Design and construction of new male, female and disabled toilet facilities.

The existing area contained an old disused toilet block, office facilities and storage area which had to be demolished and removed prior to remodelling.  New block partition walls were erected to enable the transformation to go ahead dividing the space into what would become the toilet areas, and a corridor area linking the main walkway to the new facilities.

Each toilet block was fitted to a very high specification, including high grade moisture resistant compact laminate cubicles, vanity units with recessed wash hand basins, IPS panelling with concealed cisterns, anti-vandal toilet seats, hand dryers, toilet roll holders and urinals.

The disabled WC was self-contained and fitted with the latest Doc M pack, safety alarms and features.  All toilets were fitted with CCTV cameras, linked back to a secure area enabling safe security viewing.
